The Kenya Meteorological Department has said that most parts of the country are expected to be sunny and dry this week.

In a statement on Tuesday, Kenya MET, however, said that there will be rainfall in the Highlands West of the Rift Valley, Lake Victoria Basin, Central Rift Valley, Highlands East of the Rift Valley, and Coast.

"In some regions of northwestern and north-eastern Kenya, average daytime (maximum) temperatures are likely to be high (more than 30°C)," the statement read.

According to the statement, most of the Highlands east of the Rift Valley and the southern lowlands can expect moderate nighttime (minimum) temperatures of 10°C to 20°C.
