Narc Kenya leader Martha Karua has dismissed the Supreme Court's recommendations on the IEBC as hot air.
Karua captioned the phrase on a story carried by a local media outlet on the court's recommendations to fix problems associated with elections in the IEBC.
The recommendations were contained in the 133 page reasoned verdict of the court on the Azimio presidential petition.
Among the recommendations is that there be clearly defined separation of powers between IEBC chairman, chief executive officer and other commissioners.
The court also recommended that access to IEBC servers be restricted to the Commission staff during the election period to avoid suspicion from stakeholders.
The apex court also recommended that Forms 34A used to tally poll results at the constituency level be redesigned a column for stray ballots included.
These are the recommendations Karua referred to as hot air.
The phrase gained prominence when the seven-judge bench used it to describe the evidence presented in court by Raila and the other petitioners.
Raila had sought the nullification of William Ruto's victory in the August 9 presidential election but the court dismissed his petition for lack of evidence.
