Former Nairobi governor Mike Sonko has dispelled rumours that legendary Kenyan female boxer Conjestina Achieng' is dead.
Sonko was speaking in Mombasa Women Empowerment Network Hospital in Miritini Saturday afternoon where Conjestina is undergoing rehabilitation.
He had gone to check on her as well as donate boxing equipment.
Rumours started going around on social media on Thursday that Conjestina is dead.
Conjestina had been admitted to the institution in early July after her health and mental status deteriorated.
