UDA presidential candidate William Ruto secured the most votes in Sabatia constituency in Vihiga county.

Sabatia is the home of ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi, who ditched Raila Odinga for the Kenya Kwanza outfit.

Ruto got 22,087 votes while Raila had 19,743 votes.

Presidential candidates George Wajackoyah of the Roots party and David Mwaure (Agano) got 330 and 126 votes respectively.

The number of registered voters was 70,875.

IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati said 42,286 of the votes cast were valid.

The number of rejected ballots was 343.
