Ruto courts Mombasa as Raila campaigns in Kisumu

Azimio and Kenya Kwanza have intensified campaigns in their final round of vote hunting.

Kenya Kwanza presidential candidate William Ruto will on Thursday take his campaigns to Makueni and Mombasa counties.

His itinerary will start at Kyuasini in Kaiti constituency, before heading to Kalamba in Makueni constituency and finish at Mvita constituency.

He will be accompanied by his running mate Rigathi Gachagua and other leaders allied to Kenya Kwanza.

Ruto had on Wednesday taken his campaigns to Kiambu and Kirinyaga counties.

Azimio presidential candidate Raila Odinga and his troops will take their campaigns to Kisumu county.

They will pitch tents in Jomo Kenyatta International Stadium.

Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Alliance and Kenya Kwanza have intensified campaigns in their final round of vote hunting.

The 2022 General Election has been touted as the most competitive with a lot at stake for the two leading presidential contenders.

Raila is making his fifth, and probably, last attempt at becoming Kenya’s commander-in-chief while the DP is on his maiden attempt to occupy State House, failure to which he will be secluded in the opposition at least for the next five years.

Kenya goes to the ballot to choose their next president, and other leaders on August 9, 2022.
