Ruto courts Mombasa as Raila campaigns in Bungoma, Trans Nzoia

Raila had on Thursday taken his campaigns to West Pokot-Baringo counties.

Kenya Kwanza presidential candidate William Ruto will on Friday take his campaigns to Kilifi and Mombasa Counties.

His itinerary will start in Magarini Constituency before heading to Rabai in Rabai Constituency.

The trail will then head to Kilifi town in Kilifi North Constituency before proceeding to Old Town in Mvita Constituency and finish at Changamwe in Changamwe Constituency.

Ruto had on Thursday taken his campaigns to Lamu, Malindi and Tana River counties while his running mate Rigathi Gachagua had taken the Kenya Kwanza gospel to Nyandarùa County.

Azimio presidential candidate Raila Odinga will on the other hand be campaigning in Bungoma and Trans Nzoia.

He will be accompanied by leaders allied to the coalition to drum up support for their bid.

He had on Thursday taken his campaigns to West Pokot-Baringo and Elgeyo Marakwet counties. 

The 2022 general election has been touted as the most competitive with a lot at stake for the two leading presidential contenders.

Raila is making his fifth, and probably, the last attempt at becoming Kenya’s commander-in-chief while the DP is on his maiden attempt to occupy State House, failure to which he will be secluded in the opposition at least for the next five years.
