The former late President of Kenya Mwai Kibaki has been laid to rest at his home in Othaya Constituency, Nyeri County.
The burial event was private; attended by the family and a few guests.

He was accorded 19 gun salutes as his body was being lowered into the grave.
After the gun salute, the forces observed a 2-minute silence in honour of the late president.
Thousands of Kenyans attended the burial ceremony which was held at the Othaya Approved School grounds.
Nyeri Catholic Archbishop Anthony Muheria presided over the service.
The was attended by top dignitaries led by President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto.
ODM leader Raila Odinga is also present.
Muheria started the service with prayers before reiterating the Kibaki family's wish and that of their late father that politics should not be played at his funeral.
"I appeal to you that in line with the late President's wishes, there will be no politics," he said.
