Education CS George Magoha has said the 2021 examinations did not leak.

Speaking when he released the exams on Monday, Magoha said the Ministry of Education docket is not for the faint-hearted and had done their best to ensure the exams were seamless.

"This examination did not leak, for those who were waiting for it to leak, you are mistaken... I want to warn you that I have the choice to remain a CS until tomorrow, if you choose to put the career online, we will punish children, parents and teachers," he said.

"It is criminal to confuse a young star. Those who are bold and doing so taking money from these people must be prepared to face the consequences that are coming."

He said some teachers were caught with cell phones. "You can try and we shall catch you and in less than a day, you will lose your job."

Magoha said it is the last results to be released under the Jubilee administration, "A regime that has seen a more flawless release of exams and has restored the credibility in our examinations," he said.

"I am proud and humbled to have served as the longest CS in education ministry under Jubilee administration."

Magoha said he is proud of his record and remains confident that those who will come after him will find a comfortable place.

TSC CEO Nancy Macharia thanked the teachers for their selfless efforts in preparing them for the exams.

"All teachers who were involved in exams conducted themselves professionally," she said

"This is testimony that our teachers are pursuing credibility. We are here to celebrate the 1.2m who will be joining Form One," she said.

She was speaking at Mitihani house during the release of the KCPE examinations on Monday.

"The commission will conduct a routine exercise to ensure we have balanced teachers ahead of the start of the new academic year," she said.

Once the results are out, the candidates can get the results by sending their index numbers to code 20076.

Some 1.2 million candidates sat their 2021 Kenya Certificate of Primary Education exams this year.

The tests started on March 7 and were concluded on March 9.
