ODM leader Raila Odinga's son Raila Junior is the latest of elite Kenyans who have either visited or met Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria in Dubai.

The MP has been in a Dubai hospital for weeks to nurse burn injuries he sustained on his feet.

In a tweet, the scion said he was impressed by Kuria's recovery progress.

He also revealed that he used the opportunity to lure Kuria to join Azimio La Umoja in the quest to make Kenya a better country.

"Good to bump into my brother Hon. Moses Kuria in Dubai and I am happy to witness his recovery. I have asked him to join the winning team Azimio, tupeleke Kenya mbele pamoja," he said on Tuesday.

The two met at the Gulf Cooperation Council-Kenya Business Forum which is expected to be opened by President Uhuru Kenyatta later on Tuesday.

He also met Cabinet Secretaries Peter Munya and Mutahi Kagwe, as well as Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry president Richard Ngatia.

The CSs accompanied President Uhuru Kenyatta who is on a three-day working visit to the United Arab Emirates.

Uhuru left the country on Monday.

On February 3, Deputy President William Ruto also visited the Gatundu South MP at the Dubai hospital.

Kuria took to his Facebook page to reveal that the country's second in command was in Dubai where he also paid him a courtesy call.

The MP said he used the visit to update the DP on his recovery journey and also welcome him to his homecoming scheduled for February 19.

Kuria sustained third-degree burns on his feet leading to his hospitalisation.
