Blogger and Deputy President William Ruto's digital strategist Dennis Itumbi has said that he is fractured but not destroyed.

In a statement on Tuesday, Itumbi said that he remains unmoved and strong in the Hustler nation, and is energised and ready for the next phase.

"To the few Rogue Police and their masters, I am Unmoved - #HustlerNation Strong. I am Fractured, but NOT DESTROYED. ENERGIZED and Damn it, RESTED! You just helped us get to the next phase!" he said on Facebook.

He also announced that he will have thanksgiving prayers in Gichugu on February 13.

Itumbi said he has every reason to rejoice this new year, as he thanked all who have remembered him in prayers.

"God works in mysterious ways, and my deliverance, ongoing healing and hope for a better tomorrow are my testimony of abounding grace," he said.

"Thank you for your ceaseless prayer, well wishes and encouragement; your goodwill saw me through the worst of a truly rough patch and restored my faith in the goodness of people," Itumbi added.

The vocal blogger was abducted as he left a barbershop and allegedly tortured later before he was abandoned in the Lucky Summer area, Kasarani, Nairobi.

He had a broken hand and his legs were slightly injured after being knocked by a hammer.

Itumbi was later admitted to the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit after he was found to have pneumonia after the abduction.

Deputy President William Ruto sensationally claimed Itumbi was tortured by people who should have been there to protect him.

Police denied involvement in the incident after UDA allied politicians linked them to his abduction.

Police spokesman Bruno Shioso said they are investigating the incident.
