A caretaker who left a gate man toothless has found himself in trouble in Dagoreti sub- County.

Kevin Khayumbi is said to have summoned Vincent Ambayi for leaving the gate unattended on November 5.

Ambayi, who was feeling unwell had left his work station to seek medication.

After some time, a taxi driver came knocking at the gate but nobody opened it.

It is at that moment that Khayumbi opened the gate while complaining.

When the guard returned, Khayumbi questioned him saying his work was not to open the gate.

This led to bitter exchange of words with the caretaker punching the guard on the face making him lose some teeth.

In return, the guard left the caretaker injured on the ribs and lips.

The accused denied hitting the guard and was released on Sh200,000 bond.

The case will be mentioned on December 13.
