UDA, a party associated with Ruto wins first seat in Nakuru

The United Democratic Alliance, a party associated with Deputy President William Ruto won its first seat just after midnight in Nakuru on Friday.

UDA candidate Anthony Nzuki got 1,707  votes in the London ward by-election that was initially marred with violence and claims of bribery.

Jubilee Party's Francis Njoroge was second with 1,385 votes after the tally of all the polling stations had been transmitted.

Moses Kuria's People's Empowerment Party's Bernard Maina came in third with 891 votes.
