The leader of a notorious gang within Nairobi Central Business District has been arrested.
Godfrey Sangare Ambani was arrested on Tuesday evening by DCI detectives who laid a trap for him at Milimani Law Courts.
"Following an Intelligence led operation, a team of detectives and Police officers based at Kamukunji have managed to arrest their leader," director George Kinoti said.
In a tweet on Wednesday, Kinoti said Ambani was positively identified by several victims in an identification parade.
"He will be arraigned today and charged with robbery with violence," Kinoti said.
