Body of missing Burundian found in Turkana

The body of a missing Burundian national was on Friday found in Turkana.

Refugees from Kakuma Camp at Kalobeyei village found the body along the Nalio dry river bed in Turkana West.

The deceased was identified as Nkeshimana Adelin,35. He

was a boda boda

rider in Kakuma and lived at the refugee camp.

Turkana West police boss Joseph Cheruiyot said the deceased had been reported missing a week ago

"We will establish the course of his death and arrest the culprits behind this heinous act," he said.

The police boss urged boda boda

riders to be cautious while ferrying passengers, especially at night.

He said some gangsters pretended to be passengers, whose aim was

to steal and kill innocent people.
