BBI: Bungoma medics laud health commission proposal

Medics from Bungoma county have lauded the BBI report, saying proposed health reforms will address their issues.

Addressing the press in Bungoma town on Wednesday, Akoto Antony, chairman of doctors association in Western, said the health sector was  critical and deserves keen attention.

Akoto said health workers are happy with the proposed creation of the Health Service Commission.

"We strongly believe the Health Service Commission will also help wananchi to have enough  doctors in their health facilities, enough working  tools and infrastructure at working areas for our people," he said.

Akoto called upon medics across the country to support the BBI report.
