There was drama on Wednesday morning in Kisumu after traffic cops opened fire on EACC officers during a sting operation.
The incident happened after three traffic police officers were arrested by EACC detectives.
The EACC Kisumu office had staged a sting operation at Mamboleo roadblock and airport area where they conducted the arrests.
A source says a woman traffic officer was shot in the leg during the chaotic arrest.
One of the officer jumped from the flyover at Mamboleo area being constructed and was carried to the EACC offices.
None of the EACC officers were injured in the incident.
The arrested were taken to Mamboleo police station for identification before being moved to the EACC office for processing where they will officially make a statement.
