Test runs of services will be done at the Othaya Level Six hospital in the next one week in preparation for the opening of the Sh1 billion facility in two weeks, Health PS Peter Tum has said.

Tum said doctors, nurses, paramedics and other specialists have been selected to work in the facility.

The PS made the announcement on Thursday when he visited the facility to see the level of preparedness of the hospital before it starts operations. He said the government will ensure there are level six hospitals in some regions.
