The government has signed a Joint Corporation Strategy valued at

4.5 billion Euros,

for aligning development cooperation between the region, individual countries and Kenya.

The joint cooperation strategy which is expected to run until 2022 will focus on three factors: sustainable infrastructure, reliance building and job creation.

Kenya turned into a walking nation over PSV strike

Thousands of commuters yesterday walked for long distances to their destinations after most matatu operators withdrew their vehicles to protest the enforcement of the strict Michuki rules.

The strike had a heavy toll on the transport sector as prompting public outcries.

Some cancelled their trips while others opted to use taxis and boda-bodas who charged even higher fares. Private cars made a killing as they became the last resort for the stranded and desperate commuters.

Court asks DCI to probe Ngirita's medical records

A Nairobi court has ordered the DCI to investigate medical documents presented by Anne Ngirita, an accused in the NYS scandal, showing she was unwell.

on Monday, Ngirita made an application for an adjournment of the NYS case, claiming she was and she could not sit for long during the hearing.

She said had been referred to the Mater Hospital for further examination. Ngirita pleaded with the court to adjourn the case until she seeks further medical attention.

Introduce hourly parking payment to maximize revenue – experts tell City Hall

City Hall should introduce in the CBD if it wants to significantly increase revenue collection from the stream, a new report has said.

The Parking Management Report released by the Institute for Transportation and Development Policy last week shows that the county losses millions of shilling in revenue every year because of the ‘fixed’ fees.

It says that 19 per cent of all vehicles parked in the CBD park for eight hours or more and occupy more than a half of all the available parking slots downtown.

Teenage Pregnancies have become alarming recently in Kilifi county causing major concern on the future of the upcoming

generation of young girls.

Latest statistics have shown over 1 while some from as young as 14 years have already given birth.

To many the figures could be alarming but in reality there is a serious problem of young girls engaging in early sex which has often put them at risk of getting pregnant.
