Three people were injured when the vehicle they were travelling in was sprayed with bullets by unknown militants.
The ambush took place on Thursday
between El Wak and Waegadud, on the border with Somalia.
They were taken to Wargadud health centre.
Tension has been rising in Lakole village, Wargadud ward, which is said to be the centre of a land dispute between the Gurreh and Murulle communities.
