Police on Friday night shot dead three suspected gangsters in Juja along the Nairobi-Thika Highway after a botched carjacking attempt.
The three who included two men and a woman were shot at High Point Estate

said police got a tip-off that the suspects had shot and injured a taxi driver at Kenol in Murang’a County.
“Police recovered a Ceska pistol, a homemade pistol, few rounds of ammunition and several sachets of medicine,” Munyasia said.
