Uasin Gishu governor-elect Jackson Mandago on Tuesday shared a podium with Bundotich Kiprop popularly known as Buzeki.
The two faced off in a stiff competition for the county's top seat during last week's general election which Mandago won.
This was the first time the leaders met since the polls were concluded.
They pledged to unite communities living in the county as well as drive development together.
"The season of elections is over. It's now time to join hands and build our county," Mandago said.
The two met at the funeral service of Mzee Joseph Koros at Kesses.
Buzeki conceded defeat to the county boss in the polls and offered what he termed as 300% support.
"He is now the father of the county and residents of Uasin Gishu look upon him to unite everyone," Buzeki said in his concession speech.
During their latest meeting, the poll loser said he will implement his pledge to invest in the region.
"I will start with development of a modern milk plant in the county."
"I urge Uasin Gishu residents to support the governor so that he delivers on his mandate," Buzeki said.
He said he will be available for consultations on development matters in the county.
