A lobby group has questioned Uhuru Kenyatta's "easy win in the repeat presidential election and claimed figures were altered significantly in his favour.

Kura Yangu Sauti Yangu has reportedly identified major errors and inconsistencies in results from the October 26 election in which Uhuru won with 98 per cent.

The lobby group deployed about 2,000 observers to monitor the fresh election in 44 out of 47 counties.

It said the President's victory is since IEBC's figures are significantly altered in forms 34B and 34A in Garissa.

"ASK Show Ground, stream 1, Galbet Ward, Garissa Township constituency, numbers of form 34A appear to have been changed from 72 to 372 votes for Uhuru and from 74 to 374 valid votes," its preliminary report states.

“Bolargy Primary School, Stream 1, Iftin Ward, Garissa Township constituency, numbers on form 34A appear to have been changed from 86 to 286 votes for Uhuru and from 87 to 287 total valid votes."

“New numbers have clearly been written over lines that had been drawn to indicate where numbers were not meant to be,” the report continues.

The report details manipulation of figures and incidents where different colour ink was used to change digits.

They also note result alterations in Tumbeni Primary School, Stream 2, Chemuche Ward, Malava constituency in Kakamega county.

Only two candidates were voted for: NASA's Raila Odinga got four votes, while Alliance for Real Change's Abduba Dida got two votes.

"This amounts to six total valid votes [but] the form shows that 77 total valid votes were cast," the report adds.

"Kura Yangu Sauti Yangu has identified errors and inconsistencies in the results announced, including significant and unexplained changes in the Register of Voters," it says.

There report also states that verifying results in published forms 34B of Kitutu Chache South, Nyali, Central Imenti, Mumias West and Mt Elgon was impossible because some pages were missing.

It states that the total valid votes recorded on Forms 34B in 10 counties does not match the total valid votes IEBC chair Wafula Chebukati announced.

The lobby group has questioned why Chebukati did not provide a total of 7,753,820 as the number of people who turned out to vote which includes the total valid and rejected votes.

Chebukati announced that 7,616,217 voters cast the ballot in the fresh presidential poll.

“The IEBC has not released any constituency, county or national level data regarding rejected-objected- to votes or disputed votes. It is therefore impossible to calculate an accurate number of votes cast,” the lobby says.

On Wednesday, IEBC said 7,575,806 voters were identified through the KIEMS kits during last week's repeat presidential election.

Another 348,839 were identified by ID cards or passports being searched on the kits while 1,490,034 were identified through an alphanumeric search.

The data was provided by French firm, OT Morpho, which provided IEBC with the election technology deployed during the elections.

NASA has claimed only 3.5 million people voted on October 26.
