Waiyaki Way closed after gas leak from LPG truck

A section of Waiyaki Way and the Southern Bypass exit at Kikuyu was Wednesday evening closed after a gas leak from an LPG truck.

Police said the area has been sealed off to safeguard motorists and members of the public.

Police and fire fighting vehicles are currently at the scene evaluating the situation.

Heavy traffic is anticipated along the stretch that feeds traffic in and out of the city.
