A detective attached to the Special Crime Prevention Unit has been slashed to death by criminals in Kiambu county.
The crime buster was ambushed at
Tharaini
bar where he was chewing miraa inside his car at 4 am, Friday.

said the
officer was pulled out of the bar, strangled and slashed with a panga.
He was not armed during the incident as he was off duty,
Katumo said.
A watchman at the bar and another man also sustained deep panga cuts and
are admitted to the hospital.
Specialised crime Prevention Unit is a unit of the DCI which deals with hardcore crimes.
