Makueni Governor Kivutha Kibwana is under pressure to join Wiper.

Nairobi Deputy Governor Jonathan Mueke on Sunday urged Kibwana to join Wiper and give party leader Kalonzo Musyoka bargaining power in negotiating the Cord presidential ticket.

“We revere you as a big voice and respected leader. Consider joining Wiper so we speak with one voice as a community to give Wiper the desired strength,” he said. Mueke spoke at AIC Ndivuni in Makueni county where he and Kibwana helped raise funds for construction of the church. Mueke told Kibwana he will beat other aspirants in the nominations if he joins the party.
