ODM Deputy Party leader and Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho has declared interest in the Presidency in 2022.
Joho said he will support party leader Raila Odinga for President in next year’s elections and thereafter strategize to succeed him in 2022.
He did not elaborate whether he will run against Raila in case the Cord leader win’s next year’s elections.
Speaking at a prayer rally presided over by Raila in Kisumu yesterday, Joho told off President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto against telling other Kenyans to wait until 2032 to run for President.
The Jubilee leaders are on record claiming that President Uhuru will lead the Country until 2022 and hand over power to Ruto until 2032.
