Police are looking for a licensed firearm holder who shot dead a man allegedly involved in a love affair with his girlfriend.
Witnesses say Christopher Adangi was shot during the wee hours of Friday morning at Garden Estate, Nairobi.
It is alleged that the suspect, Leonard Kanari, 35 years-old, shot the man after he found him with his girlfriend in his house.
The two were coming from a night out at Thika Road Mall.
Speaking to The Star on phone, Nairobi County Commander Japheth Koome said that they are investigating the matter.
According to Koome, the woman Ednah Kariuki was having an affair with the two men.
The lady who has already recorded her statement at Kasarani police station was not injured during the ordeal.
The county commander said that they are following leads on the whereabouts of the suspect and will soon arrest him.
