The new property which has been re-branded to Muthu Warwick Mount Kenya Hotel, brings to five the number of hotels operating in Kenya under the MGM Muthu brand.

Earlier this year, the hotel chain made its entry into Africa's hospitality industry by acquiring four hotel facilities, which were under the umbrella of Sun Africa Hotel Group of companies in Kenya.

Muthu Warwick is a 78-roomed and suite budget hotel.

It is located within the proximities of Mt. Kenya and the Ol Pejeta and Solio conservancies, ideal for leisure and business travelers.

“Whether you are a passionate explorer or a business traveler seeking both productivity and leisure, our doors are wide open for you," said Singh.

The group plans to invest in three more facilities in Kenya as it seeks to cement its presence in the country.

“We are committed to creating memorable experiences that transcend boundaries and cultures, with each property representing our belief that travel is for all,” Singh said.

It plans to use its wide presence in Europe to market Kenya as a tourist destination, with a key focus on nature and safari.
