OPPO Kenya launches Reno 2F for photography, video lovers

Chinese smartphone maker OPPO has officially introduced the Reno 2F series in the Kenyan market.

Like its predecessor, Reno launched in July, the phone redefines the the limits to users' photo and video creativity.

The phone comes with a slew of photography-enhancing features, including a 48MP quad camera setup and 5x hybrid zoom aided by 20x digital zoom.

 

The phone's ultra-dark mode allows users to enjoy ultra-clear night shots picking up details invisible to the human eye.

The ultra-steady video bringing ‘action camera’ level exceptionally clear and smooth video that may interest younger Kenyans who are into vlogging.

The phone has a 8GB of RAM, 128GB of internal storage, 4,000 mAh battery with fast charging support feature that allows 51 per cent charge in 30 minutes.

Unlike many other China made phones, the Reno F2's fingerprint sensor is on its screen instead of the back.

"OPPO believes in not simply focusing on the creative result but also, the process. Valuing and enjoying this process can unleash users’ creativity more than ever before," OPPO Head of Marketing and PR Muthoni Wachira said at the launch.

The launch was held at Ole Sereni in Nairobi on Monday evening where they also unveiled their influencers.

OPPO is currently ranked number five smartphone brand worldwide with a global market share of 8.9 percent.

Samsung and Huawei brands top the list with market share of 22.9 percent and 16.7 percent respectively.

 

The device will be available locally in various Oppo branded retail stores across the country and from online store at Sh39,999.
