Mason Greenwood scored his first senior goal since January 2022 to help Getafe, who played for more than an hour with 10 men, draw at Celta Vigo in La Liga.

Greenwood, 22, moved to Spain on 1 September on a season-long loan after an internal investigation at United.

It came after charges against the player, including attempted rape and assault, were dropped in February.

On Sunday, Getafe took a second-minute lead through Borja Mayoral before a 24th-minute equaliser by Jonathan Bamba.

Getafe were reduced to 10 men in the 30th minute when Domingos Duarte was sent off for two bookable offences.

Greenwood then made it 2-1 to the visitors in the 33rd minute only for Norway forward Jorgen Strand Larsen to equalise three minutes before half-time.

Celta Vigo's former Liverpool forward Iago Aspas missed a penalty with the score 1-0 to Getafe.

The point leaves Getafe 11th in the table on 10 points from nine games. Celta Vigo are 18th on six points, two from safety, after nine matches.
