DCI arrests Ugandan, two Kenyans in sacco con schemes probe

A Ugandan national was on Tuesday arrested on the charge of defrauding members of various saccos millions of shillings.

Patrick Emmanuel,

who resides in Kawangware, was nabbed alongside two Kenyans Zahra Ahmed and Abdullazac Rajab.

DCI, in a tweet, said the victims are members of

Safaricom, Bamburi and Stima saccos.

The detectives recovered several passports from the suspects.

Of late, there have been many arrests on conmen fleecing unsuspecting persons of their hard-earned money in fraudulent land deals, SIM swaps, and fake money deals.
