Migori governor Okoth Obado is currently being grilled by the DCI in Nairobi.
He is being questioned for being a person of interest in the murder of
Rongo University student Sharon Otieno.
Obado spent the better part of the morning at the headquarters of the Directorate of Criminal Investigations in Nairobi.
He was accompanied by his lawyer Cliff Ombeta.
Last week, he
denied being involved in the murder.
Obado told the police in Kisumu that he too was interested in knowing Sharon’s killers.
The police questioned him for more than eight hours. Ombeta said their client was innocent but told the police what he knew about the case.
