Three al Shabaab killed in US airstrikes in Somalia

US air forces have killed three al Shabaab terrorists in Somalia.

The Monday attack was made possible with the help of the Federal Government of Somalia.

No civilians were killed during the attack.

The US said they are ready to support and protect citizens across the World from this terrorist group.

"We will also target their training camps and their safe heavens

not only in Somalia but across the region." the US said in a statement.

The US added that together with other international partners they are committed to providing Somali AMISOM and Somali National Security Forces the support they need in the fight against violent extreme organisations.
