NASA co-principles Kalonzo Musyoka, Moses Wetangula and Musalia Mudavadi have said the coalition is still united despite their absence at the swearing-in ceremony of Raila Odinga at Uhuru Park.

The three explained that the coalition is still intact and will continue to pursue electoral reforms and solutions for the challenges facing the country.

"We met on Monday and agreed to meet again this morning(Tuesday). However, due to circumstances beyond our comprehension and control, the four of us did not assemble as planned. Nonetheless, the NASA Summit remains strong and united. The Summit will meet within two days, to address the immense challenges facing this country," a joint statement from the three read.

Questions have been raised about their whereabouts after they failed to show up at Uhuru Park grounds.

Machakos governor Aldred Mutua wrote on his twitter handle; The whole swearing-in event was wrong and bound to fail because it was unconstitutional & based on the wrong premise. On the other hand, it is now CRYSTAL clear to ALL that Kalonzo Musyoka has over and over again proven he can NEVER be DEPENDED on. Trust him at your own peril.

Another user@ItsMutai said,

Kalonzo demanding for state protection to overthrow that same state. This is a joker. If Kalonzo is serious with the swearing in, you don't demand protection from 'illegitimate' government. You swear yourself in and capture power to give yourself that protection.

Their statement comes hours after their ‘disappearance’ became the talk of the town.

Kalonzo, who is supposed to be Raila’s deputy has once again called a watermelon.

The name is used to describe a person who is not consistent.

Raila Odinga has changed his twitter handle from NASA leader to the Peoples President.

"This is the official account of The Rt. Hon. Raila Amolo Odinga, President of the Republic of Kenya," the handle now reads.

It was changed minutes after Raila took the oath of office as the people's president at Uhuru Park grounds.

The event was attended by thousands of opposition supporters but other NASA principals including his running mate Kalonzo Musyoka gave it a wide berth
