Kikuyu MP Kimani Ichungwa has dismissed NASA threats to push for electoral reforms as an empty talk.

The MP told the Star on the phone that the Jubilee administration was focused on building the nation to improve the welfare of Kenyans.

He said the party is waiting for the Supreme Court process to end so that President Uhuru Kenyatta can be sworn in to form the new government.

"After swearing, President Uhuru Kenyatta, life will go on and we will let the police do their work," Ichungwa said.

The Kikuyu MP was responding to the six-point revolution plan by the opposition after pulling out of the repeat polls to pursue electoral justice.

NASA plans to stage prolonged and charged political rallies, people's assemblies and economic boycott.

It has also threatened to swear in Raila Odinga as the Head of State if President Uhuru Kenyatta is sworn in.

"As Jubilee, our focus remains on national development, cohesion and delivering on the promises," Ichungwa said.

The Jubilee MP said NASA was intimidating Kenyans.

“They tell the World that we are intimidating them and yet don’t want to observe the law so that the country moves on,” he told the Star.

The MP added the opposition will not use propaganda to mislead Kenyans.

“Our President will continue transforming the country irrespective of their threats,” he said.
