I tip Manchester United to run over relegation threatened Sunderland today

Sunderland Vs Man United, Today 3:45pm,

My Prediction: Black Cats 1 Red Devils...3

Manchester United are lucky that they have an easy game this weekend. Yeah yeah! Pundits will say that it’s tough playing a relegation threatened side in the second half of the season but that’s just hogwash.

Man United are playing pretty well and even though they deserved that draw with Chelsea last weekend; the goal that was scored by Jesse Lingard was magical.

With Lingard and Anthony Martial—two most promising youngsters —Man United can achieve anything they put their minds to. Captain Wayne Rooney is still a great player who leads by example and I don’t believe Sunderland boss Sam Allardyce will have a come back for the Red Devils.

By the way, I have not been kidnapped; I am not drunk and I am not being forced to write this; but I believe United have this one! I’ll even put money on it!

Chelsea Vs Newcastle Today 8:30pm

My Prediction: Blues.....1 Magpies...1

Chelsea are still behaving like weirdos! Last weekend, they had a relatively poor first half against Manchester United but then came back strongly in the second half and deserved to get at least a point out of that game.

Diego Costa is still a cry baby but there’s no denying he is sharp at what he does. Newcastle are just above the relegation zone having lost five of their last ten matches and drawn two.

Surprisingly two of their three wins in that period have been against strong London clubs—Spurs and West Ham. It is a sign that the Magpies don’t fear London clubs so this could get interesting.

Aleksandar Mitrovic has risen to the occasion for Newcastle and I’m banking on him to get the goals today. The Blues defence has been looking shaky all season and I trust that both teams will concede today.

Arsenal Vs Leicester, Tomorrow 3pm,

My Prediction: Gunners...2 Leicester..0

This is such a critical game because Arsenal need to stop the runaway league leaders and reduce the gap before it’s too late to catch up! The Gunners are 3rd in the league, five points behind leaders Leicester, who aren’t showing any signs of slowing down.

I must remind you all though that Leicester have lost just two games this seasons; one against Liverpool and the other against Arsenal. Leicester play an open game; the kind of football the Gunners thrive on.

It leaves so many spaces for Arsene Wenger’s troops to find gaps to play the ball. Arsenal have Alexis Sanchez, Francis Coquelin and Laurent Koscielny fit; and if only Olivier Giroud can recapture his scoring form; then our spine would be perfect.

We disciplined Leicester at their home-ground and if they knew what’s good for them; they would actually apply to avoid the upcoming humiliation at Emirates Stadium. But as nice guests, we’ll accommodate but send them home with nothing!

Aston Villa Vs Liverpool, Tomorrow 5:05pm,

My Prediction: Villa....1 Reds.....1

Liverpool have become so useless this season that even relegation bound Aston Villa should feel a bit confident welcoming them to Villa Park.

Villa have won just three matches this season and lost 15; yes 15! They sit bottom of the standings with just 16 points after 25 games but I can assure them that they’ll have 17 points by the end of the weekend.

Liverpool don’t have any exceptional players ;and while Philippe Coutinho and Roberto Firmino shine at the club; it’s only because the rest of the playing squad is so poor.

You can’t trust Liverpool to get three points from any game; this one included. I respect Jurgen Klopp but I’m afraid he needs a full summer of transfer time to make Liverpool a great team again.

Man City Vs Tottenham, Tomorrow 7:15pm,

My Prediction: Citizens.... 3 Spurs....3

Another really key fixture given that Tottenham are second in the standings and Man City just one point behind them in 4th. City have clearly not given up on the title while Spurs really want to solidify a Champions League spot; although I’m sure they are also dreaming of pipping favourites Leicester to the title.

Both teams have some great quality and are playing exceptional football; although City surprised everyone by going down 3-1 to Leicester at the Etihad last weekend.

There is word that Vincent Kompany could be back for this game and that would be a major boost for Manuel Pellegrini’s side. They have definitely been missing in defense and as a leader on the pitch.

Given the stakes in terms of league position in this tie; both sets of playing will be fighting hard. I think the winner in this game will be Arsenal because it will end all square.
