5-Minute-Interview: I was the only woman in Kenya to run for student president

I'm good at….mainly sports, cooking, eating, speaking.

I'm very bad at….....waiting.

The last book I enjoyed reading is……The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho.

A common misconception of me is….....I am unapproachable because I appear too confident and extremely focused.

The most surprising thing that happened to me is….when I vied for student president being the first and only female in Kenya to attempt such. My campaigns were lavish.

One of my worst childhood fears was……a herd of cows but not anymore. Now it is heights and extreme speeds.

My ideal night out is…....with my close friends and family.

If I was a politician, I would…………..talk less and do more.

In another life I would have been…....me.

The best age to be is….....25

The best part of my job…...serving the people.

In a nutshell my philosophy is......Life should be lived. A few know what it means to live.

My idea of perfect happiness is.........I do not think happiness can be perfect. In fact, happiness is a decision. It takes sadness to know happiness, laughter to know sadness and so on and so forth.

Living person I most admire…...US President Barack Obama.

Historical figures I most identify with……….anti-apartheid icon and former South African President Nelson Mandela and American rights activist Martin Luther King Jnr.

My greatest achievement is......……starting a company.

My greatest regret is….......none.

My greatest possession is…..my collection of books.

My favourite author is……Chinua Achebe.

If I was to die in five minutes, my last words would be…..It’s my turn now, I want you to start living.
