Through a whopping four presidencies, ODM boss Raila Odinga has consistently engaged in what is now known in political corridors as ‘handshake’.
Essentially, whether he has lost in these elections since 1997 or has been robbed, as widely believed by his support base, the former PM has found a rallying point around which to work with the man subsequently sworn in as president. And with it has come condemnation from sections of the country, which have seen his handshakes as acts of betrayal.
