Housing PS Charles Hinga has broken his silence on his viral sweaty explainer on the Housing Levy.
During an interview with Spice FM, Hinga said he sweats a lot, whether induced or not.
"Sweating is Biblical, and we must blame it on Adam and not me, because when Adam sinned, he was told by the sweat of his bow, he shall eat," Hinga said.
The PS went viral after he held a presser at State House, Nairobi, explaining in detail the proposed Housing Levy in the Finance Bill 2023.
During the presser, Hinga occasionally removed his handkerchief to wipe off sweat.
Social Media went ablaze as Kenyans shared memes and edited videos of the PS sweating.
The PS, passionately explained why Kenyans should pay for the levy, and in many instances, he repeated himself.
"Unaona ata vile nimesweat... Sorry, I'm normally very animated," he said
