
Detectives are investigating an
incident where an electrician died after an airbag that he was fixing on a
lorry exploded on him at a garage in Embakasi area, Nairobi.
Mathew Muli Wambua, 37, was fixing an airbag system on a lorry when the rear cross-member diff airbag pushed him to the chassis of the trail cross front member killing him, witnesses and his colleagues said.
The incident happened on Tuesday, September 23, 2025.
Police were called to the scene and
moved the body to the mortuary for autopsy and other procedures.
Meanwhile, police in
Chepkube, Bungoma county are investigating murder in an incident where the body
of a man identified as Yohana Kones, 32, was found lying in his compound.
The man had been
killed and his body abandoned in his compound, police said.
Police said the body had visible
injuries on the forehead, right hand and both legs.
Police said they are looking for the
deceased’s wife and his brother-in-law over the murder.
There had been an alleged dispute between the
deceased man and his wife over their son.
The body was moved to the mortuary
pending an autopsy and investigations.

are holding a man who hit and killed his 50-year-old father in a domestic quarrel.
The incident happened
in Ugathi village on Wednesday September 24, 2025 evening and left one Jackson
Omondi dead.
He was assaulted by a
spade sustaining a deep cut on the forehead. Police said he was rushed to the hospital
where he succumbed to the injuries.
The son was later
arrested and detained pending arraignment for murder, police said.
The body was moved to
a local mortuary pending an autopsy and investigations.
Such domestic feuds that turn fatal have been on the rise in villages amid efforts to solve them.
