Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua on Sunday held a grand opposition leaders’ meeting at his Wamunyoro residence.
The leaders included Wiper’s Kalonzo Musyoka, PLP’s Martha Karua, DAP-K’s Eugene Wamalwa and former Cabinet Secretaries Justin Muturia and Mithika Linturi, as well as former MP Kabando wa Kabando, among others.
“Thank you, Second Deputy President of the Republic of Kenya, HE Rigathi Gachagua and Pastor Dorcas Rigathi, for such an incredible welcome to your Wamunyoro residence this Sunday afternoon,” Kalonzo said.

This is the first time all opposition leaders have gathered at the Wamunyoro home, which has become the centre of operations for Gachagua.
He has been meeting all groups of people allied to him and those joining his side of politics at home.
The opposition is working on forging a united front ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Gachagua, after his impeachment, has been reaching out to all willing parties and persons willing to join the opposition, hence the many meetings that have made little known Wamunyoro village famous in the Kenyan political circles.
