The Canon Xf605  is the latest professional broadcast camcorder with advanced features for users.

Its new features were showcased at The Stanley Hotel on Thursday.

This camera is designed to meet all the needs of content creators.

It also focuses on bridging the gap between the camera and its users.

Canon Xf605 has been best designed for broadcast and filmmakers.

Some of its new features include autofocus, high-quality images, touchscreen, connectivity, usability, lightweight and stabilization standards.

One will no longer have to set up lights while shooting because these features are in this camera.

Image zooming is adjusted via an app or using a laptop without having access to it physically.

It also allows broadcasters to put the camera in a small space and control it from a central unit.

The users will also get a chance to live stream directly and capture images without the SOI.

A two-year warranty is given out and it also has 2 dedicated customer care services.

“It's very useful when shooting moving objects and it works by recognizing faces and following the subject in motion,’’ said John Wambugu the Canon Kenya Business Development Manager East Africa.

The CEO of Kenya Filmmakers Timothy Owase acknowledged the fact that canon has been solving customers problems.

"The government and Kenya Film Commission are putting stakeholders at the forefront to see that we provide you with the necessary solutions you need through the programs we have come up with," said Owase.
