A number of public institutions and regional organizations have announced
new job openings targeting professionals across diverse sectors including
transport, education, law, aviation, science, and gender equality.
The Kenya
School of Law (KSL) is inviting applications from qualified and
result-oriented professionals to fill several positions aimed at boosting
efficiency in service delivery.
The school, which provides professional legal training under the KSL Act Cap
16C, is encouraging both new and previous applicants for re-advertised posts to
submit their applications.
It is seeking to employ a Director/CEO, assistant director/advocates
training programme, and adjunct lecturers, advocates training programmed.
Applications should be submitted through its recruitment portal at www.ksl.ac.ke by November 18, 2025.
The Kenya Advanced Institute
of Science and Technology (Kenya-AIST), a postgraduate-only institution based at Konza Technopolis, has
advertised positions for professors and associate professors in various
engineering and biotechnology disciplines.
The open areas of research are at the department of mechanical engineering, nuclear
engineering, electrical and electronics engineering, ICT engineering, civil
engineering, chemical engineering and agricultural biotechnology.
The Institute will launch 14 flagship programmes in the initial years, with
a focus on driving the country’s industrialisation through knowledge economy.
Applicants should be PhD holders from recognised universities, at least five
years teaching experience as an associate professor and nine years of research
experience as a research faculty.
A minimum 60 publications since attaining associate professorship or
equivalent of at least 40 should be in refereed scholarly journals.
They should have supervised a minimum 10 doctoral students to completion, at
least five at master’s degree level, and have evidence of registered patents
and commercilised innovations in an area of research.
The programmes are MSc Degree and Doctor of Philosophy in Civil and Environmental
Engineering, MSc Degree and Doctor of Philosophy in Electrical & Electronic
Engineering, MSc Degree and Doctor of Philosophy in ICT Engineering, MSc Degree
and Doctor of Philosophy in Mechanical Engineering, MSc Degree and Doctor of
Philosophy in Nuclear Engineering, MSc Degree and Doctor of Philosophy in
Chemical Engineering, and MSc Degree and Doctor of Philosophy in Agricultural
Biotechnology.
The institute seeks to enhance research and innovation in line with Vision
2030 goals.

At the National
Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA), the Board is seeking to
recruit a new Director General, who will serve as the Chief Executive
Officer of the Authority.
The successful candidate will be responsible for steering NTSA’s strategic
and operational mandate in enhancing road safety and regulating the country’s
road transport sector.
Applicants must possess at least 15 years of experience, five of which should
be in senior management, have highly accountable in decision making and of integrity,
and be visionary, self-driven, transformative and result-oriented strategy
thinker.
They must hold a master’s degree in fields such as engineering, business,
law or social sciences, and must have taken a leadership course lasting not
less than six weeks from a recognised institution.

Regionally, the Africa Leather and Leather Products Institute (ALLPI), headquartered in Addis Ababa,
Ethiopia, is recruiting a programmes coordinator and resource mobilisation specialist to lead implementation of its
Strategic Action Plan.
Eligible applicants must be nationals of ALLPI member states, including
Kenya, with at least 10 years of program coordination experience and three
years in fundraising.
Other member states include Burundi, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Malawi, Rwanda,
Sudan, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe
Applicants should be less than 56 years old, and should possess an advanced
university degree MSc/MA in livestock or other related area to leather development
of animal science, livestock production, economics and international relation,

(ICAO) in Montreal, Canada.
The position calls for a senior aviation expert with at least 15 years of experience
and strong international negotiation skills.
Applicants should have taken a leadership course lasting not less than four
weeks from a recognised institution and be proficient in computer applications.
