President William Ruto on Saturday joined worshippers of the Pentecostal Assemblies of God–Kenya in celebrating the church’s 100th anniversary at Nyang’ori High School grounds in Vihiga County.
The event was also attended by Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi and other leaders.

On Friday, September 3, Prime Cabinet Secretary Mudavadi met the church leadership, led by General Superintendent Bishop Kenneth Adiara Mbalanya, to assess final preparations for today's landmark celebration.
He commended the church for overcoming internal challenges in recent years and regaining unity, urging its leaders to continue being a pillar of cohesion in society.
“The PAG Church has shown renewed strength and unity. This spirit of togetherness is important not just for the church, but for the nation, and it complements the unifying agenda President Ruto is driving,” Mudavadi said.
