President William Ruto has launched the upgrading of at least five roads in Transmara East, in Narok County.

The roads, which include Shartuka, Njipship, Olchobosei, Abosi and Gorgor roads in Olchobosei centre, will be upgraded to Bitumen Standard.

The President was accompanied by, among others, Deputy President Kithure Kindiki and elected leaders from the county.

The Head of State is on his second day of the development tour of Narok.

The tour started on Tuesday after spending another two days in Migori County.
