The court on Thursday, May 22, 2025, directed that the suspects, including former Makadara Member of Parliament Rueben Ndolo, must physically appear for identification.
During the mention of the case, the accused had presented themselves virtually. However, Chief Magistrate Lucas Onyina ruled that they must attend in person on Monday, May 26, 2025, carrying their identification cards.
The accused—Daniel Otieno Juma, George Otieno, Cyrus Nyamboga Gichana, Bernard Ochieng Andai, Dick Otieno Ombaka, and Hassan Dima Wario—were charged alongside Ndolo for allegedly causing a disturbance likely to breach the peace.
Additionally, Ndolo and Juma face charges of issuing death threats against Rashid Hamid, a director at Richland Properties Limited.
The alleged incident occurred at Bustani Garden, where they were accused of forcefully breaking in.
Ndolo and Juma were released on a Sh200,000 cash bail or a Sh300,000 bond with one surety, while the other accused secured freedom on a Sh30,000 cash bail or a Sh50,000 bond.
The case is set for further mention on Thursday, 22nd May 2025, with proceedings expected to advance following the accused's physical appearance at Milimani Law Courts on Monday, May 26, 2025.
