On Instagram, Anerlisa said her new man does not ask for money from him like her exes.
"He asked: How did I win your heart? I said: 'Because you ask nothing from me and that makes it easier for you concentrate on seeing the real me,'" she wrote.
Last week, during Melvin's birthday, she booked an entire restaurant to allow him to celebrate his big day.
On Friday, Anerlisa said she ended previous relationships since most of the exes she dated had selfish reasons.
Anerlisa highlighted how one of her exes told her to build him a house and establish a business venture like hers for him. Anerlisa owns and runs the luxury bottled water brand 'Executive'.
She said after she refused to fulfil that "obnoxious" request, she was dumped within a week.
"I don't even know why this has just come up in my head. I have come to gather that most of the relationships fail because (out of my experience) you get into a relationship for your own selfish reasons," she said.
"Let me laugh. One of my exes once asked me this, 'We have been together for more than a year now and you haven't helped me?' I asked, "What do you mean, helped?"
"He said, 'I mean you should have built me a house by now or even opened for me a company like yours.' I answered, 'If you thought starting a relationship with me will make you rich, then you are in the wrong relationship.' My friend, I was dropped in less than a week."
In another post, Anerlisa said another reason her relationships failed was that some men she dated felt entitled to her properties and life.
Anerlisa said the ex wanted her to share her ATM pin with him.
Anerlisa also explained how she found her ex plotting to steal money from her with his friend on phone.
She said the ex was planning to steal $30,000 (about Sh3.5 million) but she found out before he succeeded and dumped him.
"That's why I laugh when I hear people say, 'He dated her and left with nothing.' Yes, they leave with nothing. The only thing you'll remember is my genuine love and experience," she said.
"Also, mind you, I was only dating this person for less than a year and he had already come with his agenda."
She said people should get into a relationship to only love and make each other better mentally and emotionally.
"You might have a plan but God is the one who approves it, and no evil plans are approved by him."
