KLDC and KenTrade announce 9 job vacancies

KLDC works to support and grow Kenya's leather industry.

KenTrade, on the other hand, has announced eight job opportunities, including infrastructure engineer, network engineer, customer service officer, contact centre assistant, customer service assistant, senior internal auditor (information systems) and system administrator.

The agency helps make importing and exporting goods easier through online systems.

People interested in the KLDC job should visit https://leathercouncil.go.ke/careers⁠, read the job requirements and submit their application online before Monday, August 3 at 5:00 pm. KLDC has said it will not accept paper applications.

Those applying for jobs at KenTrade should visit https://www.kentrade.go.ke/careers⁠ and submit their application before Tuesday, August 4 at 5:00pm.

KenTrade has said only online applications will be accepted.

Applicants who are shortlisted will be required to present clearance certificates, including Good Conduct (DCI), KRA Tax Compliance, HELB clearance, EACC clearance and CRB clearance. Those with qualifications from outside Kenya may also need recognition from CUE or KNQA.

KLDC and KenTrade warned that canvassing or trying to influence the recruitment process will lead to automatic disqualification. They also encouraged persons with disability, women, marginalised groups and all qualified Kenyans to apply.
