Strathmore University have vowed to go back to the drawing board after throwing away the lead to draw  1-1 against Amira Sailors on Saturday at USIU.

Captain Diana Bariti acknowledged the strength of their opponents,  Amira Sailors, who she described as worthy competitors.

Reflecting on their performance, she regretted throwing away numerous chances and promised to do things differently in their next encounter.

"We missed several chances that we would have converted, especially penalty corners. We need to put in some work in our penalty corners. We had better chances but we haven't gelled as a team.”

Strathmore has so far played three matches —winning one (1-0) against Sliders and drawing one against Amiras and losing (1-0) to Mombasa Sports Club in their opener.

Bariti emphasised the need to address their weaknesses and capitalise on opportunities in upcoming fixtures.

In other matches,  Kisii Falcons edged Bay Club 1-0 in a closely fought battle while KCA demonstrated their dominance with a commanding 5-1 victory over Parkroad Badgers.

In the women's Super League, GHF Rift Pirates continued their strong run, securing a 3-1 win over Vikings Nakuru. USIU posted similar results against KCA in the men's category as Black Tigress and GHF Rift Pirates battled to a 1-1 draw.

Strathmore maintained their form with a 2-0 triumph over Sliders with Nicole Joy and Jeriah Onsare on target.

Meanwhile, Parkroad overcame Technical University 2-0 with Parklands Sports Club posting a similar goal margin against Nakuru in the National League.  Oyugis Club lose 1-2 to Kisii Falcons in Awendo in another match.
