Speaking to his wife on Facebook Live on Thursday, Nameless was explaining about some photos he shared on his social media while on a US tour.
Nameless described the moment as one in which he best interacts with his fans while on stage.
"When I am on stage, I am Nameless and I am allowed to interact with my fans that way," he said.
"A lot of pictures you saw me sharing are not from my official photographer but people tagging me. They were sharing with me. There is no man who sends me such photos, and I understand."
He told his fans to understand that he is a husband and a performing artiste.
Nameless said at one point, his mum questioned him about some 'seductive' dance moves in some of his songs.
"My mum would call me after watching some music videos that I have done with other women and say, 'Weh, I am feeling a bit jealous for Wahu,'" he said.
"I would explain that Wahu was there, holding the lights. I would explain to her it is acting."
On the other end, Wahu said she read most comments and some fans thought he was disrespecting her, while others understood it was purely work.
She recalled a time she asked for a photo with a male artiste who was her favourite, and he turned her down.
"I remember there was a Kenyan musician I liked and at some point, I met him on stage. I was like, can I have a photo with you for my memory, 'He told me he can't since his girlfriend is not comfortable,'" she said.
"I was just like it, just a picture for the memory. His marks dropped since he was overthinking."
The same happened with a Nigerian artiste.
"I always remember that when someone wants a photo, it is not like they want you, it is for their memories. I have been there myself and it is easier since I am in the industry as well."
Nameless added that he meets all kinds of people and he doesn't judge his fans when he takes photos with them.
"By the time I am sharing those photos, I am cool they are not hurting anyone."
